When the party assaulted the ice giant fortress the party was hell bent on going out of their way to ruin winterwolf pelts. I managed to save 2 pelts out (both killed with magic missles) from the party’s needless onslaught. Mae then tried twice to get her grimmy hands on them so that she could “cut them up” to make temporary clothes for people. I hid the pelts from Mae’s dastardly plans and was finally able to get them back to Ys. 

 

Daylor offered to take the pelts to a wood elf master craftsmen with a very long waiting list who only works with exotic materials. Daylor said that getting into the top half of the guys waitlist would be a true test of diplomatic skill and that the guy had a specific enchanter he worked with exclusively. I asked that they be enchanted as cloaks of protection.

5 Lbs mythril

5 Lbs adamantium

White Dragon Leather

10 Star Sapphires

 

Tim said that after 6 months the cloaks were finished and enchantable. Do I need to reach out to the enchanter the craftsmen works with to try to strike a deal or is this something Daylor is taking care of? Daylor said previously that in these circles this sort of work is offered as a “gift” for “friends” and that everyone likes to pretend there is no horse trading going on.
