I have done a pretty good job endearing myself to the dwarves of stone mountain. They won’t ever like me but I can probably achieve favorite Elf status and a grudging respect. My real goal here is to be in a position to help negotiate an alliance between the elves and dwarves on this continent against doom and the hord should such a need arise.
I sent a dragon head to the king under the mountain
I keep significant amounts of cash in dwarven banks
I fully funded the same orphanage as Bazcrack
I arranged for the evacuation of Mt. Thunderbeard
Next step: Save Pappa Thunderbeard.
|> I have trouble thinking of a good analogy to how the dwarves feel about you. Fortunately, you don’t know how they feel about you, and wouldn’t understand if they explained it, so I don’t feel pressured to explain.
A(May 29ish) Best way to collect influence with the king under the mountain and Baronar would be to spend 298,452 GP providing housing to the hobbits in Happy valley. Having an idea of how much money the coco and coffee trade are bringing in, I have to wonder if this is a case of me blundering into Gloriana skillfully fleecing the dwarves. The major downside to doing this is the damage which would be done to Jonril trade. I should speak with both Gloriana and the Zolans before preceding.
Alex – June 9th ish – On hold for now
|> Effects of Happy Valley on trade between dwarves and Jonril are unavoidable in long run. Opening up trade to the coast through Jonril is the solution in any case.
Yes you still don’t know what deity is in charge of the place
